In the capital of the Black Earth Region, work is still underway on the construction of the Airborne Forces Museum. The completion date has been repeatedly postponed, and now the project is planned to be completed by June 1. The media reported this with reference to the mayor of the city.

Previously, the facility was planned to be completed by Victory Day. However, the deadlines were pushed back again. Construction of the Airborne Forces Museum on Lizyukova, 42v started in 2022. It was planned that the work would be completed in 2023. However, the deadlines were shifted again and again.

In February last year, ONF expert Svetlana Kalinina came to check the progress of construction of the museum. She was not sure that construction would be completed by August 2, that is, in six months. However, the builders, despite the appearance of the facility, assured that everything was going according to plan. In order for the ONF to be confident that the facility would be completed on time, the contractor undertook to provide information every two weeks about the progress of work – what was done and at what stage of construction. Today it is clear that for various reasons the work could not be completed on time: either there were no materials in the country, or there was not enough money.

At one time, the contractor was the only participant in the auction. The application was found to meet the requirements. The contract was concluded for 191.9 million rubles.
