Regional Governor Alexey Teksler took part in the award ceremony for the winners of the tenth All-Russian television competition “Student TEFI – 2024”, which took place in Chelyabinsk. This was reported by the press service of the head of the region.
“I would like to thank the Academy of Russian Television for entrusting us with holding the tenth ceremony. We are ready to do this on an annual basis if it is accepted by the Academy itself. This is an honor for us; we have very creative students,” Texler emphasized.
Mikhail Shvydkoy, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation, noted that students are interested in television creativity. According to him, “neural networks will not replace us.”
The competition had many different nominations. It is noted that first place in the “Internet project” category was taken by students of South Ural State University with the project “It’s your choice.” Also, the award “For contribution to the development of professional education in the field of television” was received by member of the board of trustees, rector of the Institute of Film and Television (GITR) Yuri Litovchin and public figure, founder of the Foundation for Social Cultural and Educational Initiatives 2020 Irina Teksler.
The All-Russian television competition Student TEFI took place in Chelyabinsk from April 22 to 25. In addition to the competition itself, the event included master classes, quizzes and battles on the topic of journalism.
