Seasonal bus routes and additional electric train flights will be launched in Kuzbass from May 1

From May 1 to October 1, 2024, seasonal bus routes and additional electric train routes to garden partnerships will operate in the region.

According to the region’s Ministry of Transport, an additional 53 suburban and 6 city bus routes will begin operating from May 1. The number of flights operated on ten permanently operating routes will increase, three more will have larger capacity buses, and six routes will be extended to SNT.

For example, in Kemerovo, 40 routes will be launched to 30 gardening societies, in Novokuznetsk – 15 commuter routes, on seven more all-season routes the number of flights will increase, and on two buses of larger capacity will be installed. In other cities, 11 additional routes are introduced in the summer, and changes are made to the traffic patterns and schedules on 13 permanent routes. Additionally, transportation during the summer season will be provided by more than 20 intercity routes.

Currently, automobile enterprises, together with local governments, are conducting surveys of road conditions, the condition of access roads to gardening societies, updating bus stop signage, and conducting briefings with drivers and conductors.

In addition, from Kuzbass the sale of bus tickets will be opened in the direction of the Altai and Krasnoyarsk territories, the Altai and Khakassia republics.

In April-May, OJSC Kuzbass Suburban will gradually introduce additional flights of 21 electric trains to places of public recreation and to SNT.

For the summer period of 2024, Kuzbass plans to increase flights to Moscow, Sochi, St. Petersburg, Samara and Ufa. In April, the Kazan-Kemerovo-Kazan flight resumed twice a week, and in May a new flight Makhachkala-Novokuznetsk-Makhachkala opened.

As in previous years, in the summer of 2024, 33 categories of citizens will be able to take advantage of social support measures in public transport. In particular, from May 1 to October 1, free travel is provided for pensioners in city and suburban transport from Monday to Thursday.
