The Murmansk Regional Museum of Local Lore, together with the ANO “Attraction of the Arctic”, won a grant from the regional Ministry of Culture for the implementation of the exhibition project “The Great Northern Expedition”.

This year, with the help of the grant, the museum is organizing an exhibition dedicated to the development of the Northern Sea Route and the role that the Murmansk region played in this process. Later, the exhibition will be presented in municipal museums in the region.

“We are also working on a VR installation that will allow you to immerse yourself in a virtual journey through the picturesque places of the Murmansk coast and learn more about the development of Arctic navigation,” said the regional museum of local lore.
