From January to February, capital enterprises increased the production of soap, detergents, perfumes and cosmetics by 60.5%. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

“There are more than 30 factories in Moscow that produce cosmetics, care and hygiene products. They employ over four thousand people. In January – February 2024, these enterprises increased the production of cosmetics, perfumes and detergents by more than 1.6 times. The volume of shipped products exceeded 10.5 billion rubles,” said department head Vladislav Ovchinsky.

For example, the Moscow enterprise Geltek-Medica, a manufacturer of professional cosmetics and gels for ultrasound and functional diagnostics, has significantly increased its production since the beginning of 2024. The production of anti-aging cream increased by more than 5.5 times, the production of eyelid cream-serum by 3.3 times, and the gel concentrate for the face by almost three times.

In the capital, various types of soap and detergents are made, as well as perfumes, colognes, skin care products and various cosmetic products – powders, mascaras, lipsticks, etc.

Moscow entrepreneurs have access to over 20 systemic support measures, as well as a number of anti-crisis tools that allow them to save their own money. At the same time, with the help of city support, they can expand production facilities, purchase new pieces of equipment, introduce innovative technologies and expand their range.
