Governor Alexander Sokolov ordered to strengthen security measures during the celebration of the 650th anniversary of Kirov. Law and order will be ensured on Spring and Labor Day, as well as on Victory Day.
Given the massive nature of the events, special attention will be paid to the fire safety conditions of buildings and premises where the events will be held. The staff of the institutions will be given instructions and consulted on issues of interaction between departments of internal affairs bodies, emergency and emergency services.
Venues on the streets are inspected using sniffer dogs and technical means. Passage will be through checkpoints using barriers and metal detectors.
– We are expecting guests from other regions, which will increase the load. I ask you to focus on anniversary events when planning the duty schedule of officials and to involve the maximum number of people to ensure security,” said Governor Alexander Sokolov.
Let us remind you that during the festive festivities – on City Day and Youth Day – the sky over Kirov may be closed. It is planned that the festive concerts on June 12 and 29 will be attended by more than 50 thousand people.
