On April 25, the 47th track and field relay in memory of Valentin Podnevich, dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, will be held in the Central District at the SGUPS stadium. The competition will open a series of relay races that will take place in every district of Novosibirsk. The athletes who show the best results will take part in the city relay race in memory of Alexander Ivanovich Pokryshkin on May 9 on Lenin Square.
The chief judge of the competition, Alexander Smirnov, spoke about it in the program “Sports Environment” on the TV channel “Russia 24”. In addition to athletics races, sports fans will be able to pass the complex’s standards at the VFSK GTO MAU “Stadium” site.
