A gang of 9 drug dealers will be convicted in Buryatia. Ulan-Ude residents aged 20 to 28 years old were in the dock, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Buryatia reported.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a 28-year-old man purchased large quantities of drugs from one of the underground online stores from March to September 2023. To deliver illegal orders, he recruited three young people who brought him drugs from the Irkutsk and Tyumen regions, as well as the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Subsequently, the leader packaged the “goods” and passed them through a hiding place to the pawnbrokers – four young men aged 20-22 and a 21-year-old girl. Accomplices sold them to drug addicts through caches on the territory of Ulan-Ude.
The gang was discovered last year. The police discovered at least 25 caches, and drugs were also seized from the detainees themselves.
Currently, there is a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 30, pp. “a, d” part 4 tbsp. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was sent to court. All nine defendants are in custody.
