In Rostov-on-Don on May 9, the parade will most likely take place without spectators. This was announced by the Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev at a government meeting.

According to the governor, fireworks will not be set off in Rostov in honor of Victory Day. As for the fireworks display on the left bank of the Don, this decision depends on the Russian Ministry of Defense.

— Regarding the parade: there will be no parade in Novocherkassk; in Rostov we are working with the Ministry of Defense. But the likelihood that the parade will be without spectators is high. We did this the year before,” said Vasily Golubev.

Earlier in the Rostov region, the Immortal Regiment march was canceled due to existing threats to public safety.

Let us add that the Don capital will be decorated for Victory Day for 13.8 million rubles.
