25th of April. The First Movement launched the All-Russian action “Windows of Victory”, which is dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day. The project is aimed at preserving the memory of the events of our history and the feat of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The first ones throughout the country are placing stickers dedicated to May 9 on the windows of houses, educational and public institutions. This is how the guys pay tribute to the heroism and courage of veterans and Russian soldiers.
In the Magadan region, the First are already preparing vytinankas – paper cuttings in the theme of the Victory. The guys will place them on the windows of educational, cultural organizations and institutions.
The movement is aware of the value of historical memory in the formation of modern society, therefore the First throughout Russia look up to the exploits and value guidelines of their ancestors. The movement creates an environment that promotes children’s deep understanding of the connections between the history of their families and the history of their homeland. The unification of generations in the Movement makes it possible to ensure the continuity and moral integrity of the development of Russian society.

The “Windows of Victory” campaign is carried out by the First Movement every year and covers all of Russia. Thus, in 2023, the First Ones decorated more than a million windows throughout the country, and the initiative of the younger generation was supported by politicians, public figures, and show business stars.
This year, schoolchildren, secondary vocational students, youth members, volunteers and many others traditionally began placing stickers on the windows of educational institutions and their homes at the end of April. Especially for activists, the Movement has developed more than 30 sticker stencils, which depict symbols of the Great Victory – St. George’s ribbons, carnations and doves, famous monuments – “Motherland”, “Alyosha” and many others, as well as the date and name of the holiday.

Anyone can join the action. This can be done through the VKontakte “Windows of Victory” activity via the link. To participate, you need to choose the stencil you like, print it in the required quantity, cut it along the contour and decorate the windows of your homes, educational institutions and places of work with the finished design.
The first ones who have already taken part in the campaign share photos of windows with holiday decorations on social networks, publishing posts with the hashtag Windows of Victory.
