More than 15 thousand Tomsk medical workers will undergo medical examination in 2024

TOMSK, April 25 – RIA Tomsk. At least 200 health workers undergo medical examination every day in the Tomsk region; in total, more than 15 thousand employees of medical organizations will undergo it in 2024, a representative of the press service of the regional health department reported on Thursday.

“5.4 thousand doctors and 9.7 thousand representatives of paramedical personnel in the Tomsk region are subject to clinical examination and preventive examinations in 2024,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

She noted that at least 200 people undergo medical examinations “by doctors for doctors” every day. The list of examinations for representatives of medical organizations is the same as for all residents of the Tomsk region: “Taking into account the possibility of in-depth medical examination, including for those who have had COVID-19.”

“There are a number of institutions in the region that do not have an attached population and, accordingly, do not have a full range of medical procedures… Clinics that conduct on-site examinations of colleagues at their workplaces come to the rescue; we are talking about large specialized hospitals, such as an emergency hospital medical care,” the press service quotes the head of the regional health department, Robert Fidarov.

As previously reported, about 135 thousand residents of the Tomsk region underwent medical examinations and preventive examinations in the first quarter of 2024. About a third of this number received referrals for in-depth examination. Medical examinations are carried out by 33 medical organizations and 14 mobile teams. In total, about 700 thousand people will be examined in 2024.
