A modern boiler house will be built for high-rise buildings in the central part of Volgograd

The new infrastructure facility is designed to replace the existing one, located on Glazkova Street.

“After commissioning, the facility will be able to generate about 240 MW of thermal energy and will supply more than half of all residential buildings in the Central District with heat and hot water, and will also be able to provide utilities for the territory of promising development,” the Volgograd administration clarified.

The boiler room will be located in a new building: modern equipment will be installed there, supply networks will be installed and the existing section of the heating pipeline will be modernized.

The large-scale project is planned to be implemented before the end of 2024; after the boiler house is put into operation, consumers will be switched to a new source of resource. After this, the contractor dismantles the old boiler room.
