The police helped solve the problem through negotiations.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region received gratitude from a local resident, IrkSib reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Irkutsk Region, on Thursday, April 25.

“In the first half of the day, at the beginning of duty, I received a telephone message from a woman. She was in a hurry to get to work and asked for help to pick up her car as quickly as possible, which an acquaintance could also damage,” say local police officers.

The police found out that in the evening the girl came to a friend’s house in her car, but after an argument she went home by taxi. The mini-crossover was left in the man’s yard. In the morning, the girl wanted to pick up the car, but her friend did not give it to her.

The girl contacted the police, where she was told to invite a friend for a conversation. And here he was met by law enforcement officers.

“In a filigree and even brilliant way, senior police lieutenant Vyacheslav Vitoshkin and police lieutenant Mikhail Protasov talked to my friend, after which he returned my car. This all happened within an hour!” the appeal says.

The girl noted that the police helped solve the problem “through negotiations and psychological tricks.”
