During the upcoming May holidays, street parking in Moscow will be free, city mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
“This will affect all streets without exception on April 29 and 30, as well as on May 1, 9, 10 and 11,” the capital’s mayor wrote in his Telegram channel.
On May 12, Muscovites and guests of the metropolis will need to pay for parking only on the streets where rates are set at 380 and 450 rubles per hour.
Also, city parking lots with barriers will operate as usual.
This year in Russia, official holidays are April 28 – May 1, May 9-12.
