Nizhny Novgorod’s income from paid parking space increased 2.5 times

Since the beginning of the year, the budget has received 10.9 million rubles for the use of paid parking lots.

10.9 million rubles went to the budget of Nizhny Novgorod for the use of paid parking in the first quarter of 2024, the city administration reported.

According to information, for the same period last year – 4.3 million rubles. Thus, the city’s income from the operation of paid parking spaces increased 2.5 times.

“In total, 21 thousand 452 decisions were issued this year under Art. 3.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, fines of 37.1 million rubles were imposed, 37.5 million rubles were paid (including payments issued at the end of last year),” said the administration of Nizhny Novgorod.

Let us remind you that in Nizhny Novgorod there are 114 paid parking spaces for 5 thousand 858 cars. Of these, 111 are located on city streets, another three are closed parking lots.

Earlier, the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region committee on urban development, property and land relations, Vasily Sukhanov, said that paid parking in the center of Nizhny Novgorod should not be regulated during the construction of the metro.
