Residents of the Vladimir region complained on social networks that in one of the cemeteries in the region, artificial flowers were being stolen en masse from graves.

We are talking about the Verbovsky cemetery in the Murom district of the Vladimir region. There, visitors noticed people with bags taking ritual artificial flora from the graves in order to resell the spoils – and then steal them again when they were back on the graves. This was reported by an eyewitness in the “Overheard Vladimir and Vladimir Region” community on the VKontakte social network.

The costless burial business has caused a wave of outrage on social networks.

“This is low and smacks of desecration of burials. It’s a municipal cemetery, why doesn’t the administration take any measures?”, – the residents are indignant. Things are no better in other churchyards in the region.

“At the cemetery in Ulybyshevo, the same picture: they brought flowers to my brother’s grave for 9 days, arrived at forty, and there was no trace of the bouquet.”– another resident of the region shared her observations.

To prevent cemetery thieves from encroaching on the bouquets, experienced Vladimir residents advise marking the flowers with a marker in a visible place or cutting the stems short.

Earlier, Vladimir News reported that a tunnel to the underworld was discovered in a grave in a cemetery near Vladimir, photo here.
