On April 26, the annual international historical event “Victory Dictation” will take place in Sevastopol, reports the press service of the city government. This year, dictation assignments will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, the liberation of Sevastopol and Crimea, Belarus, the anniversaries of front-line writers, as well as other significant dates.

You can take part in the Victory Dictation on the website dictantpobeda.rf.

“Sevastopol residents always actively participate. The Victory Dictation will be written by schoolchildren and students. For many, this is an opportunity to once again test their knowledge of the history of the Great Patriotic War; for others, it is an incentive to delve deeper into the study of historical facts and remember the stories of the heroes of their family. The main goal of such events is to preserve the historical truth about the fight against Nazism. The strength of our people is knowledge!” – noted I. O. Director of the Department of Education and Science Maxim Krivonos.

In 2023, about 6,000 Sevastopol residents wrote the dictation. This year, according to preliminary estimates, 17,000 people will write the historical dictation in Sevastopol.
