Large public spaces will be renovated in the west of the capital. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this on his personal blog.
“In the west of Moscow, it is planned to renovate large public spaces: work will take place in Novo-Peredelkino, Ochakovo-Matveevsky, Fili-Kuntsevo, Troparevo-Nikulino, as well as in Krylatskoye. We plan to equip sports clusters, open new children’s play areas, tidy up green spaces and more. As a result, hundreds of thousands of Muscovites will have a comfortable environment close to their homes,” said the head of the city.
In particular, in Ochakovo-Matveevsky the valley of the Navershka River will be put in order. The boundaries of the property include an empty green area located on both sides of the river, in close proximity to a residential neighborhood on Ochakovskoye Highway and school No. 97.
In addition, another microdistrict – within the boundaries of Vernadsky and Leninsky Avenues and 26 Baku Commissars Street – will be transformed into Troparevo-Nikulino. This year, specialists will repair paths, arrange slopes for citizens with limited mobility, and create infrastructure for children’s leisure and sports activities.
They will also renovate nine children’s playgrounds in the same style. There will be traditional carousels, rocking chairs, sandboxes and swing-nests, unusual balancing complexes, play towers and educational interactive panels.
