Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) graduate Anna Plutalova became a nominee for the Forbes “30 under 30” rating – the publication noted the young manager’s success in implementing federal-level projects; According to the results of voting on the publication’s website, the Tomsk resident can enter the top 30 of the most recognized professionals at the all-Russian level, the university’s press service reported on Thursday.

“Forbes magazine has published a long list of the annual ranking “30 under 30”. Its participants are those who, by the age of 30, have received recognition in the professional community and become known at the all-Russian or even global level. The list of nominees includes a graduate of the Tomsk Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies polytechnic Anna Plutalova. She was included in the long list in the “Management” nomination,” the message says.

According to the press service, Plutalova graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic University with a degree in Innovation. While still a student, she launched a regional web studio. Since 2019, she has been building a career in the ADV communications group, where she led the team that created the McDonald’s digital system in Russia – a mobile application, website and data platform.

“In three years, the project grew from five to one hundred employees, and Anna was responsible for their work. By December 2021, when the TPU graduate left the ADV company, the fast food chain’s mobile application was installed by more than 20 million people, and it accounted for 20 % of all orders,” the university’s press service reports, citing the authors of the long list of ratings.

It is added that Plutalova later worked for the online platform for advertising the sale and rental of real estate in Russia “CIAN”, taking the position of head of the b2b product within the secondary market vertical. She was responsible for the user experience of agencies and real estate agents. In less than a year, the TPU graduate has risen to become the head of the entire secondary market department, which brings in about half of the company’s revenue.

“In the year that Anna Plutalova has been heading the secondary real estate market, its revenue has grown by a quarter. Her team employs more than 100 people,” explains an explanation from the Forbes website.
