Moscow. 25th of April. INTERFAX.RU – A number of streets in the Central and South-Eastern administrative districts of Moscow will be closed to traffic on April 26, May 2 and May 5 in connection with the rehearsal for the Victory Parade, the Moscow Department of Transport reported on Thursday.

“In Moscow, on April 26, May 2 and May 5, traffic will be temporarily unavailable on a number of streets in the Central Administrative District and South-Eastern Administrative District. The restrictions are related to the rehearsals of the Victory Parade,” says a message published on the department’s telegram channel.

Thus, traffic will be closed in sections of Volgogradsky Prospect, Garden Ring, Taganskaya Square on April 26 and May 2 – from 16:30 to 19:00, on May 5 – from 05:00 to 08:00.

Traffic will be closed on a number of central embankments and streets: April 26 and May 2 – from 17:30 until the end of the event, May 5 – from 05:30 until the end of the event.

On these days, traffic will be closed again: April 26, May 2 from 23:30 and May 5 – from 10:00 on sections of the Garden Ring and Volgogradsky Prospekt. On April 26 and May 2, traffic will be unavailable from 22:30 until the end of the event on the Garden Ring, New Arbat Street, and the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge.

In addition, two-way traffic will be organized in the Taganskaya Square area: from 16:30 on April 26 to 03:00 on April 27, from 16:30 on May 2 to 03:00 on May 3, on May 5 – from 05:00 to 13:00.

The Department of Transport noted that parking in the above-mentioned areas will be prohibited from April 25 to 27, as well as from May 1 to 9. Changes are possible, the department added.
