Let us remind you that the crossing in the village of Esaulsky, built 70 years ago, is no longer suitable for repair.
25 million rubles were allocated for the construction of the bridge, but in 2022 the work was stopped due to an increase in its price in March 2021, having paid the contractor almost 4 million rubles from the budget. In May 2023, it became known about a new contract for almost 60 million rubles, but construction was again frozen due to lack of funds.
“Residents began to drown in floods this spring. Unfinished construction caused a flood. People complained about the direct line with Vladimir Putin. After the intervention of the Popular Front, which all these years has been seeking movement on the stalled construction, the Investigative Committee conducted an investigation under the article “Negligence,” said the ONF.
Social activists added that work has begun, but the situation is under control.
