Due to jealousy, a Tula resident beat his drinking buddy to death during a feast – TSN 24

In Tula, a court sentenced a 28-year-old local resident who beat his friend to death out of jealousy towards a woman. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.

The tragedy occurred on the evening of June 15 last year. A man, while visiting his mother, beat up her 52-year-old guest. According to the case file, a conflict arose between them because the victim was caring for the woman.

He died from his injuries the next day in the hospital. The court found the 28-year-old Tula man guilty of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and deprived him of freedom for eight years. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security colony.

The day before, we learned that a Uzbek resident was convicted of assaulting a police officer and sentenced to prison. In a drunken state, the man climbed onto the balcony of his ex-companion and fell asleep there. They managed to wake up the man, but he didn’t like it, so he hit the policeman in the face with his fist.
