“Last year, the facade of the exhibition pavilion was dark blue with gray touches, which symbolized industrialization and transport opportunities. This year it is made of red panels. This color symbolizes the mutually beneficial relationship between Russia and China. The panels contain words and phrases reflecting, among other things, the various achievements of the region. In total, more than 70 associations with the Amur region are listed. Among them are gas processing, soybeans, Albazinsky prison, cable car, transport corridor, space, Amurexpoforum, Arc de Triomphe. After dark, the pavilion will be illuminated in such a way that the play of light and shadow will create a certain visual effect, allowing the words on the panels to appear tangible and dynamic even from afar. This design is designed to attract the attention of visitors and emphasize the significance of the region’s achievements,” says Olga Temchenko, director of the Amur Region Investment Promotion Agency.

The area near the pavilion will also be transformed. In particular, the concept of the “Made in the Amur Region” trading zone has completely changed, where the presentation and sale of food products from regional producers will take place. Previously, it was an open space with a canopy, but now it will become a small pavilion. In the same place, souvenir products from Amur craftsmen will be presented.

Instead of a stage, a pavilion “Tourism in the Amur Region” will be created. This will be a dome-shaped structure. AV content filmed and developed specifically for the Eastern Economic Forum will be posted here. Entering the dome, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of our region and get acquainted with its history. Guests of the pavilion will be greeted by an Amurosaurus. Once upon a time, this ancient lizard lived in the Amur region. According to scientists, it was a herbivorous dinosaur. There are many of his figures and sculptures in the Amur region. One of them will go to the EEF.
