The mayor’s office published a plan to change traffic in the center of Omsk in connection with the preparation and holding of festive events for Victory Day. Restrictions will come into effect from Tuesday, May 7th.
On this day there will be a delivery of equipment and a rehearsal for the festive parade. The following streets will be closed:
From 3:00 to 20:00 hours
- Communist on the section from Krasny Put Street to Pevtsova Street
From 19:30 to 24:00 hours
- Lenin in the area from Victory Square to International Street, including Cathedral Square,
- Bankovsky Lane in the area from Pevtsova Street to Cathedral Square,
- Ivan Alekseev on the section from Cathedral Square to Krasin Street,
- Tarskaya on the section from Lenin Street to Krasin Street.
From 20:00 to 24:00 hours
- Red Path on the section from Frunze Street to International Street,
- Chapaev on the section from Pevtsova Street to Red Path Street,
- Communist on the section from Pevtsova Street to Red Path Street,
- International on the section from Krasny Put Street to Herzen Street,
- Ordzhonikidze on the section from Frunze Street to International Street.
Restrictions will be introduced and 9th May. During the ceremonial passage of the troops of the Omsk garrison from 7:00 to 13:00 The following streets will be closed to traffic:
- Red Path on the section from Frunze Street to International Street,
- Chapaev on the section from Pevtsova Street to Red Path Street,
- Communist on the section from Pevtsova Street to Red Path Street,
- International on the section from Krasny Put Street to Herzen Street,
- Ordzhonikidze on the section from Frunze Street to International Street,
- Lenin on the section from International Street to Victory Square, including
- Cathedral Square,
- Bankovsky Lane in the area from Pevtsova Street to Cathedral Square,
- Ivan Alekseev on the section from Cathedral Square to Krasin Street,
- Tarskaya on the section from Lenin Street to Krasin Street.
