A contract for the supply of building materials was signed at the Innoprom exhibition, Irkutsk region and Uzbekistan

An export contract between entrepreneurs from the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Uzbekistan was signed at an international industrial exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia” V Tashkent.

Delegation of the Angara region headed by the first deputy governor of the Irkutsk region Roman Kolesov worked at the exhibition for three days. The event is attended by representatives of authorities, largest companies and small and medium-sized businesses from Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, the press service reports Government of the Irkutsk region.

An Irkutsk company operating in the field of construction materials has signed an export contract for the supply of hardeners for concrete floors and industrial impregnations.

– This contract was a continuation of international relations that began in May 2023, when, within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, a reverse business mission of the business circles of Uzbekistan to the Irkutsk region was organized. This indicates the effectiveness and relevance of such events for the business community of our region. Products from the Angara region are known and appreciated abroad and are used, among other things, in the construction industry,” Roman Kolesov emphasized.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry of the Irkutsk Region, three business missions were conducted with the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023, in which 29 companies of the Irkutsk region took part. As a result of the events, a total of three export contracts and one agreement on product promotion were signed.

In addition, companies of the Republic of Uzbekistan are expected to participate in a large-scale event – the Fifth Baikal International Partners Forum, which will take place in May 2024 and will be dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Eastern Siberia.
