On the eve of the celebration of May Day and Victory Day in Ivanovo, they began decorating city streets, the mayor’s office reports, citing the Department of Outdoor Advertising and Information.

“According to tradition, in the coming days trolleybuses, the sides of which will be decorated with festive symbols, will begin to ply the city streets,” the message says.

On the territory of the memorial “Heroes of the Front and Rear,” ceremonial banners will appear on flagpoles. Tricolors will be installed near the Sokovsky Bridge and on the station square. The mayor’s office also promises to transform the remaining city memorials, where heroes of the Great Patriotic War are buried, and other memorable places.
