The fashion show features stylized costumes in which traditional shapes and patterns are woven into modern silhouettes (12+).
A symbiosis of music, plastic arts and podium steps – the ethno-art theater “VARMA”, which came to us from Saransk, surprises with a combination of vocalization, catwalk scenes, stylized costumes, where there are modern silhouettes, and traditional forms, and ornaments.
The Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theater hosted a grandiose event in the fashion world – MATRIOSHKA FASHION SHOW. This is a one-of-a-kind runway performance. Each show, and here there are a dozen and a half designers, is integrated into the overall production, but at the same time retains its uniqueness.
One of the unusual collections came from St. Petersburg. Look at these beauties, the Victorian era suits them, it’s steampunk, and now let’s talk to the designer.
Antonina Sergeeva – designer (St. Petersburg):
“Steampunk is based on the fashion of the Victorian era, and these are always the most beautiful models, the most beautiful fashion.”
Mila Arkhipova – model (Moscow)
“The finest fabric. I feel very organic, and there is a sense of modernity.”
Elena Yudakova – model (Moscow):

Olga Parle – fashion designer, head of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Union of Designers of Russia:
“15 designers, about 100 models. Geography: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kolomna, Republic of Mordovia, Sarov, Nizhny Novgorod.”
Among the bright stars are our Nizhny Novgorod models. 16-year-old Darina Eferina was brought into a beautiful business by her mother, and from the age of 12 the girl had her first contracts. But a fashion show is always exciting

It is no coincidence that this year Nizhny Novgorod bears the proud title of “Cultural Capital”. And bright events will surprise both Nizhny Novgorod residents and city guests.
Ekaterina Nikitina – wife of the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region:
“This is the first time Matryoshka is being held in this format, and I’m sure it will be great. Have a pleasant experience for everyone, and for the guests to find time to walk, the city is magnificent.”
The city has something to show and tell: bright shows, fashion shows, interesting productions. And all for the sake of the viewer.
