Last week, humanitarian aid was delivered to the Orenburg region from the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.
This Wednesday, representatives of the federal department again arrived in Orenburg. Deputy Head of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Taras Fedotov, together with the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Orenburg Region Anatoly Chadov, met with flood victims and presented them with humanitarian aid: beds, mattresses, pillows and blankets, towels, clothes and household appliances.
They handed over detergents and heat guns for drying the premises: the water level is decreasing, people are gradually returning to their homes and, of course, are trying to bring them into proper condition.
Specialists from the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Orenburg region and members of the Youth Public Council compiled lists of victims in advance. Particular attention is paid to families with small children and large families, pensioners and citizens with disabilities.
Each affected family remains under control, citizens continue to receive psychological and legal assistance.
