In Belgorod they want to temporarily move the car market. Society News

On air “10 Questions for the Governor” April 24 Belgorodets Roman Kupriyanov noted that at the car market between st. Kalinin and Studencheskaya in Belgorod there are many commission cars. He believes that keeping such a number of cars in open space is dangerous, and asked whether the owners will be compensated for damage in the event of shelling.

The head of the region replied that the Belgorod mayor’s office is already working on the issue of relocating the car market.

“Such commission-based large car markets need to be moved to a safe part of the city. The areas where vehicles will be temporarily placed will be provided free of charge during the period of danger. Yes, there is a certain discomfort due to the fact that the car markets will be in a different place. But it’s safe. I hope that the owners of such sites will agree to take such a step,” he emphasized Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The governor clarified that those who do not agree to additional security measures may lose government assistance in the event of damage due to flights.

“But first you need to make a decision, meet with the management of commercial enterprises, explain everything. I am confident that common sense will prevail. Taking into account the current situation, it is necessary to find a compromise solution, not to the detriment of business, and not to the detriment of the costs that the state now bears. And the costs of compensation for damage are really very high,” added the head of the region.
