In the punk colony for convicts (IK-7), a lecture was held on the basics of countering terrorism and extremism.

The colony was visited by priest Alexander Kruglov, who is an assistant to the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Novgorod region for organizing work with believers. He gave a lecture to the convicts on the topic: “Countering manifestations of xenophobia, national, racial and religious extremism” and answered questions.

During the lesson, the convicts were given explanations about the criminal nature and social danger of terrorism and extremism, and clear examples of uncovering criminal terrorist cells in the country were given.

The problem raised during the lecture was of interest to many. The convicts took an active part in the discussion, asked their questions, expressed their own opinions and attitudes towards the problem of extremism.
