The construction of a hospital for war veterans in Kursk, which was supervised by the arrested Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov, was frozen indefinitely. According to preliminary information, the reasons were design errors, fires and misuse of money. This was reported by the Mash Telegram channel.

Construction of a hospital for soldiers in Kursk began in 2023. Problems with construction began at the excavation stage.

“The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has chosen a plot of land for the construction of a military hospital that is not provided with sewerage and water supply. To solve the problem with utilities, we have to put in much more effort and time,” – the Minister of Construction of the Kursk Region stated then.

As a result, the hospital with an area of about 20 thousand square meters is still not ready.
