The state prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the Station District of Tula supported in court the prosecution in a criminal case against a 28-year-old resident of the region. He was found guilty of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm while committing a crime resulting in death.

On the evening of June 15, 2023, a Tula resident, while visiting his mother, was outraged by the guest’s courtship of his mother. A verbal altercation began. During the conflict, he beat the man on the head. The 52-year-old victim died from his injuries the next day in hospital.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the accused to 8 years in prison to be served in a maximum security correctional colony.
