Law enforcement officers checked two places of compact residence of migrants engaged in labor activities at construction sites in Sevastopol. This was reported by the press service of the city department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

During the inspection, it was established that more than 150 people live in the residential premises of the two hostels, mainly citizens of the Central Asian republics who arrived in the Russian Federation for the purpose of employment.

Police officers checked the builders’ documents giving them the right to stay on the territory of the Russian Federation and carry out work activities, and also checked them against the information databases of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. In addition, police dog handlers, using a service dog, examined all hotel premises for the presence of items prohibited for civilian circulation in Russia.

During the event, police identified six foreigners who violated the regime of stay in the Russian Federation. They were brought to administrative responsibility.
