They will report on the implementation of socially significant projects, current activities and the tasks facing the municipality
The 57th meeting of the City Council of Deputies is taking place in Murmansk. A significant part of it will be devoted to reports on the work of the head of the municipality, Igor Morar, and the head of the administration, Yuri Serdechkin.
Igor Morar said that during their speeches they will report to deputies on the implementation of socially significant projects, current activities, as well as the tasks facing the municipality. In particular, attention will be paid to national projects: “Culture”, “Education”, “Housing and Urban Environment”, “Ecology” and “Safe Quality Roads”.
Priority development programs for Murmansk were adopted jointly with the townspeople; they were based on issues relevant to Murmansk residents regarding the development of transport, culture, education, and improvement of the hero city. The task is to continue this clear and coordinated work, noted the head of the municipality.
In addition, during the meeting, deputies will consider issues related to the transfer of municipal property to regional property – a land plot in the area of Podgornaya Street for the construction of an Arctic water park. The remaining items on the agenda concern changes to a number of current decisions of the Council of Deputies.
