The heating season has officially ended in Nizhny Novgorod. Heat gradually began to be turned off in apartment buildings in the city today, April 25. This is evidenced by data from a document published on the official website of the mayor’s office.
Starting today, resource supply companies have begun to switch heat supply systems to summer operation. Let us remind you that the mayor of the city, Yuri Shalabaev, announced plans to turn off the heating on this date. The mayor explained that the city has long ago achieved federal standards to set the average daily air temperature above eight degrees Celsius for five days.
Let us note that along with residential buildings, heat will also be lost in socially significant institutions. Among them are schools, kindergartens, medical organizations, as well as various enterprises.
Let us add that not all residents of the Volga capital approved of this idea. In their opinion, cold weather may still come in May. However, there are those who, on the contrary, complain about unbearably hot batteries.
Previously, DOMOSTROYNN.RU wrote that in the summer of 2024, hot water will be turned off in the city. The service disappears in residential buildings in different areas of Nizhny Novgorod.
