Author of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “TAMBOV” The Youth Theater is preparing a premiere. The Tambov audience will be presented with the vaudeville “Straw Hat” based on the play by French playwright Eugene Labiche.

At the dress rehearsal, we were able to talk with the main director of the play. Dmitry Efremov staged “Rain of Yellow Flowers” ​​and “Romeo and Juliet” on the local stage. What will please you this time?

– There was such a famous Soviet film. We decided to restore it in memory and make an interpretation for the theater stage. Vaudeville is hard. This is a new, non-everyday form of theater. This confirms not only the existence of the actors, but also the bright colorful scenery and amazing costumes. All this creates such a vaudeville mood.

– What is this play about and who should see it?

– This is a play about love. Probably all performances are about love. But here we are considering human vices. Let’s make fun of this a little satirically. And we still maintain some depth. Suitable for family viewing, you can come with children and teenagers. Because our uniform is so interesting and modern.

– How were screen images transferred to the theater stage and what ideas will the audience see?

– Through the form. We don’t have installation. We have live actors. Here we hope that this is an actor’s performance. Improvisation is probably one of the most important elements of the performance. I think we will delight and surprise the viewer with our findings. There is immersion in this story. I am pleased to invite everyone to the premiere on April 26 and 27 at TMT. I hope we bring wonderful emotions to the viewer.
