“Komarov Readings” for preschool education workers started in Pskov

The interregional forum of preschool education workers “Preschool education: development routes” started in Pskov today, April 25, the city administration told PAI.

The forum will be attended by teachers, lecturers and students of specialized universities, educators, heads of kindergartens, and parents of preschool children. The event will address current issues of preschool education: artistic and aesthetic development and economic education of children, as well as the interaction of kindergartens with families.

The forum is dedicated to the memory of the Soviet and Russian teacher, creator of an integral system of artistic and aesthetic education of preschoolers, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, excellent student of public education of the RSFSR Tamara Komarova.

One of the forum speakers was her daughter, Candidate of Historical Sciences, leading researcher at the Council for the Study of Productive Forces/VAVT of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, Irina Komarova.

Deputy Head of the Pskov Administration Alexey Nesmashny handed her a greeting address from the head of Pskov Boris Elkin.

“The pedagogical traditions of your family, which incorporate a high culture of interpersonal relationships, dedication to the development of preschool education, sensitivity to the child’s soul, educational work with parents and spirituality, are an example for preschool workers,” it says.

Boris Elkin expressed confidence that the forum will become a traditional platform for the exchange of experience and transfer of best practices, a meeting place for specialists united by the desire to preserve and strengthen traditional Russian values ​​in the field of preschool education.

The event is held as part of the Year of the Family in Russia.
