The Second Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Ivanovo Region has opened a criminal case against the Deputy Head of the Kineshemsky Defense Ministry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for receiving a bribe for illegal actions. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Ivanovo region on the Telegram channel.

According to investigators, the suspect, being in the position of deputy head of the Kineshma Department of Internal Affairs and acting as chief of police, was illegal for a local businessman to consider the applications that he sent to the police. In addition, the press service writes, “the defendant assisted the latter in preparing a fictitious registration in order to hide his real place of registration from other persons.”

For illegal actions, the ex-police chief received a bribe in the amount of 40 thousand rubles from an entrepreneur. Now he is detained as a suspect under Part 3 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The question of the preventive measure is being resolved.

The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee notes that “the crime was revealed by officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Ivanovo region together with the OSB of the Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Ivanovo region.”
