Saratov officials checked the operation of buses that they want to duplicate under gross contracts

Today, April 25, the Saratov administration announced an inspection of bus routes No. 2D, No. 90 and No. 83.

They identified many violations: faulty information boards, failure to notify passengers about stops, failure of drivers to undergo post-trip medical examinations, faulty emergency call buttons, violation of fare payment procedures, and so on.

As a result, administrative measures will be applied to Passazhirtrans-1 JSC and Stagecoach TC LLC.

• Mayor Lada Mokrousova signed a resolution on the creation of bus routes that will operate under gross contracts. Transport will duplicate existing routes No. 2D, 18D, 90. 30 large buses will be released on new routes.
• The carrier will receive a fixed payment for each route (currently its revenue varies depending on the number of passengers transported). Bus fare will be 34 rubles.
• Officials also announced an auction for transportation under gross contracts on routes No. 90A and No. 6A. Among the requirements for bus drivers on these routes is an aesthetic appearance.
