The mayor’s office increases the staff of the public utility company “Blagoustroistvo”

Deputies of the Vladimir City Council agreed to expand the staff of the municipal municipality “Blagoustroistvo”. 10 million rubles will be allocated from the city budget to pay 24 new employees until the end of 2024. Apparently, there are not enough employees in the municipal improvement service, but it is not reported how many people are currently working at the enterprise.

“We continue to work to improve the city management system. In particular, we are intensifying efforts to improve and green the city. It is proposed to introduce 24 new staff units into the municipal municipality “Blagoustroystvo” – these are green workers and one person – a 4th category electric and gas welder. This is necessary to carry out landscaping and landscaping work on a larger scale,” – explained the deputy head of the city of Vladimir Gleb Seregin.

The municipal government institution “Blagoustroistvo” was created in 2009. Since that moment, according to open data, at least five leaders have changed. Recently, the company has been headed by City Council deputy Andrei Stepanov.

In 2021, changes were made to the structure of the institution – three regional municipal municipalities “Blagoustroistvo” were created – in the Leninsky, Frunzensky and Oktyabrsky districts of the capital of the Vladimir region. They planned to spend more than 26 million rubles from the city budget on the purchase of cleaning equipment. The creation of three district municipal municipalities, as conceived by officials, should have made it possible to more quickly, including at the request of residents, organize cleaning work in designated areas. These units carried out work on cleaning city squares, parks, squares, staircases, as well as eliminating dry and damaged trees and pruning branches.

For some time in Vladimir there were five municipal enterprises at once, which were responsible for the improvement and maintenance of the city economy: three regional “Improvement”, one “head”, as well as the City Road Management Center, which was responsible for the maintenance of roads.

Now the situation has changed: recently, the regional municipal municipalities “Blagoustroistvo” were transferred to the structure of the “City Roads Management Center” (TsUGD) – they were transferred along with the staff and purchased equipment. The Center for Urban Development has seriously enlarged, redistributing responsibilities with the municipal “Improvement”: the Center is now involved in roads, maintenance of lamps, cleaning of public gardens and bus stops, roadsides, mowing grass on municipal territory, and maintenance of the city cemetery.

There is an assumption that additional employees at the municipal municipality “Blagoustroistvo” are needed so that the enterprise does not specialize only in growing and planting flowers in urban areas, but also, which is logical, takes on the crowning of trees on city streets. However, the Vladimir mayor’s office has not yet disclosed the type of occupation in which the new employees of the municipal office will specialize.
