In the Bryansk region, three local residents and three residents of the Astrakhan region (men aged 23 to 49 years) appeared in court. They were found guilty of theft and attempted theft. Details of the case were provided by the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.

In the period from 2019 to 2021, attackers secretly stole jewelry and money from pawnshops and payment terminals of one of the banks in the Pogarsky district, the cities of Bryansk, Ulyanovsk and Astrakhan. The total amount of damage amounted to more than 23.5 million rubles.

In addition, property worth more than 25 thousand rubles was damaged due to thefts. Later the attackers were detained.

The court sentenced them to terms ranging from 4.5 years to 8.5 years in prison. They will serve their sentence in a general regime colony.
