A man who received a three and a half year suspended sentence for systematically trying to “revenge” his mother by making calls and messages about mining her apartment, terrorized citizens who were not at all involved in his family affairs.
This is about the antics of a citizen with chronic alcoholism, who in 2022-2023 repeatedly reported to emergency services about “terrorists mining an apartment building on Aktyubinskaya Street.” Each such call caused a visit to the site and inspection of the territory, which not only took up the time and resources of law enforcement officers, but also led to unhealthy activity within the walls of the apartment building.
The caller, as always happens in such cases, was identified, and the security forces came to visit him. It turned out that the man sometimes (usually in connection with alcohol) was in the mood to do something bad to his mother, with whom he did not live together due to regular conflicts. The court assessed the irritating disrespect towards parents in the form of false reports of impending explosions as 3.5 years of suspended freedom.
However, a citizen contacted ForPost, who further enlivened this already vivid story. It turns out that the “miner” continued to report the bomb threat even after his mother sold the apartment she was looking for. Accordingly, she stopped living in it, and calls with messages about mining could harm anyone except a relative of a drunken hooligan. As the new owners of the apartment said, one of the cases of a high-profile visit by security forces and a sapper group took place right at the moment of discussing a real estate purchase and sale transaction.
Considering the noticeable breaks in the “miner’s” telephone activity—its peak occurs in the fall—it is still difficult to say whether he will take note of the change of residence permit of the mother on whom he was trying to take revenge.
