The territory between Derbenevskaya embankment, Letnikovskaya and Kozhevnicheskaya streets is being reorganized according to the project for integrated development of territories, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote about this in his telegram channel.

The new quarter will appear near the Paveletskaya metro station and Paveletsky railway station. In addition to housing, social and public-business facilities will be built here.

“This is an educational complex with a school and kindergarten, an innovative educational college, a hotel with a sports and recreation complex, offices, bank branches, shops, cafes and restaurants,” wrote Sergei Sobyanin. The site will be landscaped and the road network here will be updated.

In Moscow, 77 projects for integrated development of territories have been approved and are under implementation; as a result, over 196 thousand jobs will be created.

The CRT mechanism means that a particular territory should receive several functions at once, and not just residential. Along with housing, transport, social, and commercial infrastructure are being built, and new jobs are being created within walking distance. In Moscow, this term primarily refers to the development of industrial zones, as well as the construction of large residential complexes in new territories.

Most industrial zones today are semi-abandoned areas, the economic potential of which does not work for the budget of the city of Moscow. These areas are included in full-fledged city life – modern production, housing, social and commercial facilities are being built here.
