Recently the President of Poland Andrzej Duda once again stated that the republic is ready to deploy US nuclear weapons on its territory. However, the Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Ryabkov noted that such a decision would have serious consequences. Nuclear facilities of NATO countries will become a military target for Moscow. TASS reports this.

Let us note that the deployment of American nuclear weapons in Poland has been discussed for a long time. True, according to Ryabkov, this will not improve Polish security at all.

“I’m not even talking about permanent deployment – which hotheads in Warsaw are also talking about. Therefore, all those politicians who are now, for their own reasons, enthusiastically discussing such a scheme in Poland and abroad must understand: shifts in this direction will not add security.” , he admitted.

Ryabkov added that the approach of NATO nuclear forces to Russian borders only exacerbates the threats.

Earlier in Poland, an impending assassination attempt on Zelensky, allegedly planned at the airport, was prevented. The murder plot was “uncovered” by the Polish authorities.
