On April 24, 2024, the assistant rector for educational work of the Smolensk Orthodox Theological Seminary, head of the department for work with youth of the Smolensk diocese, Priest Roman Bamburov, met with students of Smolensk State University.
A conversation took place with students from the Faculty of Sociology and the Faculty of Art and Design. The meeting took place for an hour and a half on the topic of mercy.
The students were active, asking many questions. A schedule of meetings with students from other faculties of the university has been planned for May.
Priest Roman Bamburov is responsible for interaction with Smolensk State University. The Church in honor of the Resurrection of the Word in Smolensk, where Father Roman serves as rector, is located near SmolSU.
