In 2023, under the capital repair program, 9 schools were renovated in Tula, Efremov, Plavsky and Chernsky districts. This became known on April 25 at a meeting of the Tula Regional Duma.

In addition, over the past year, 3 schools were completed in the Tula region: for 1,100 places in the Baltiysky residential complex, for 100 places in the village of Yamny and for 400 in Donskoy.

Also last year, 33 “Growth Point” centers were opened in the region. They are designed to improve the quality of education in schools in villages and small towns of the Tula region. Now there are already 150 “Growth Points” operating throughout the region, in which about 18 thousand children study.

By the end of 2024, 31 more “Growth Points”, 3 children’s technology parks “Quantorium” and a digital education center “IT-Cube” are going to be opened in the Tula region. There are plans to open two new schools in Tula with a total capacity of 1,700 places. They will help reduce the number of children who have to study in the second shift.
