In Ryazan, on April 24-25, 2024, the forum “Healthy Independence 2.0” was held on the territory of the Russian State Medical University.

The organizers of the event aimed to strengthen the development of the production of healthcare equipment and medicines within the region in the context of sanctions pressure, as well as the exchange of experience between successful regional practices in the field of healthcare.

The ELAMED company, a manufacturer of medical equipment and equipment for medical institutions, took an active part in the forum: cooperation with the medical community and joint scientific research with Ryazan State Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health make the company competent in its field. Since 2001, ELAMED has its own scientific and technical center in Ryazan. It is equipped with an emergency department, a hospital and a children’s clinic. It is planned to open a branch in Lipetsk soon.

According to the head of the department of scientific and clinical research, Yulia Kalinova, who participated in the round table “Development of the medical industry,” exchange of experience and close cooperation with colleagues in the healthcare sector are the key to promising development.

The forum was attended by representatives of the regional administration, medical specialists and scientists not only from Russia, but also from the CIS countries. Governor Pavel Malkov noted the contribution of ELAMED to the development of the economy and healthcare of the region.
