On April 24, the Arbitration Court of the Kirov Region received a claim against individual entrepreneur Yu.A. Krasnyanskaya. The plaintiffs are Soyuzmultfilm LLC and Soyuzmultfilm Film Studio JSC.
The amount of claims is 100 thousand rubles.
As explained in the Arbitration Court, the claim concerns the illegal use of a trademark.
We are probably talking about cartoon characters. Soyuzmultfilm files similar lawsuits against entrepreneurs and companies in different regions of the country.
Similar cases, where Soyuzmultfilm was the plaintiff, have been considered more than once by the Arbitration Court of the Kirov Region. For example, on February 21, 2024, arbitration decided to recover from the individual entrepreneur 10 thousand rubles for violation of exclusive copyrights to the character “Cheburashka”.
