Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Samara AIDS Center, Anatoly Kalyshenko, took part in a round table dedicated to improving the quality of care for people with socially significant diseases in prison and after release. At the event, participants discussed important issues and strategies for interaction between government agencies and non-profit organizations. Topics were raised about the socialization of those released from the penitentiary system within the framework of the probation law, as well as the role of NGOs in this process.
The round table participants exchanged opinions and experiences, discussed current problems and found common solutions. As a result, recommendations were developed for further cooperation and improving the quality of care for people with socially significant diseases. The event concluded with constructive dialogue and a determination to act together to support and maintain the health and well-being of this vulnerable population.
