In the Ivolginsky district, a forest fire destroyed everything on an area of 24 hectares in one day. The fire broke out due to careless handling of fire, RALH reported.
71 people and 19 pieces of equipment worked on the fire. This morning the fire was contained and then extinguished.
No new fires have been registered in the forests of the republic. Meanwhile, at a meeting of the operational headquarters for the protection of forests from fires, they decided to intensify work during the May holidays.
Residents are reminded that there is a special fire safety regime in the republic. Places for recreation, collection of dead wood and wild plants, where you can be freely and unhindered, are published on the agency’s website.
